It was an impressive debut CAP’S BOY who stormed to victory at Moruya over the short course. Michael Heagney had the son of Brothers War tucked in behind the speed and when the gap presented itself the raw talent was there to see as he went whoosh.
Mark commented “he’s in the Top 10 of difficult horses I’ve had to break in and get going. He has kicked me, run me over and possessed a considerable buck that floored me on occasions. This win is so rewarding and all of the hard work is now starting to pay off”.
